THE SCENT

THE INGREDIENTS
Rose Geranium (Pelargonium roseum) Rich and complex — it carries undercurrents of a soft rose, without losing the brightness of traditional geranium. Prized in perfumery for centuries, it brings balance to a blend while adding life to it. That balancing quality extends beyond the scent: clinical research on inhalation specifically shows measurable reductions in anxiety and fatigue. The floral heart of Soul Rise — present, complex, the emotional core of the blend.
Juniper Berry (Juniperus communis) Distilled from the ripe berries of Juniperus communis. Crisp and bright, with a woody edge — the ingredient that brings an unexpected dimension to the blend. Its dominant compound at 51% is alpha-pinene, the same compound identified in Shinrin-yoku research — the Japanese practice of forest bathing — as responsible for cortisol reduction and a shift toward parasympathetic calm. In a steam shower, you're essentially delivering concentrated forest air. That's not a metaphor.
Petitgrain (Citrus aurantium amara) Distilled from the leaves and twigs of the same bitter orange tree that gives us neroli. Where neroli is the blossom, soft and intensely floral, petitgrain gives us the same intoxicating orange blossom waft — but quieter, greener, more vibrant and complex. Its primary compounds (linalyl acetate and linalool) share the same profile as lavender's most studied active constituents — research shows it promotes balance between the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems. The ingredient that makes Soul Rise impossible to describe — and impossible to forget.
Rock Rose (Cistus ladaniferus) Harvested from Mediterranean rock rose shrubs since antiquity, one of the oldest aromatics in recorded history. The steam-distilled oil opens sharp and herbaceous, with a freshness that has something of geranium's edge, before settling into a soft, slightly creamy floral warmth that is entirely its own. In perfumery, it functions as a fixative — the ingredient that holds a blend in place and extends the life of everything around it. In Soul Rise, it is what gives the blend its depth, its body, and its staying power in steam.
HOW TO USE
Place one steamer on the Moss Agate Holder, a ledge, or the shower floor at the edge of the water stream — close enough to catch a light sprinkle, not a direct flow. The water activates the steamer and releases the aromatherapy into the steam around you.
Each steamer lasts 2 to 3 showers. Your box contains 6 steamers. Store away from moisture between uses to preserve freshness.
